Obituary

Rita Barron Faulks Morrow, 60 of Noodle, Texas passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in North's Memorial Chapel with Geory Martin Officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5 -7 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 in North's Memorial Chapel. Rita was born April 28, 1955 in Walsenburg, Colorado to A.J. and June (Taylor) Barron. They farmed half of the year in Walsenburg, Colorado and half the year in Loraine, Texas. Rita was a graduate of Loraine High School, she attended Angelo State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics from Texas Tech University. She worked for the Amana Corp. as an appliance demonstrator. She started a career in the Law Enforcement field at the Colorado City Police Department. She was a driver's license examiner for the State of Texas in Abilene. She transferred and later retired in 2012 from the Anson office. Rita married Rick Faulks of Anson, Texas in 1980. Rita later married Mark Morrow of Hawley, Texas on August 4, 2002, in Loraine, Texas in her mother's tomato patch. They made their home in Noodle, Texas. Rita was a member and publicist for the Jones County Counsel of the Texas Extension Education Association. She was a member of the Compere Club. Rita enjoyed NASCAR, reading, and taking vacations to Colorado with Mark. She loved cooking for her family and friends and the Food Network channel was always on one of the TVs. She was preceded in death by her father A.J. Barron and sister Chris Barron She is survived by her mother June Barron of Loraine, Texas, husband Mark Morrow of Noodle, Texas, son, Andrew Faulks and wife Alexis of Abilene, Texas, Daughters, Tandy Willis of Abilene, Texas, Stacia Morrow of Hawley, Texas who resides in Oklahoma. Grandson, Gavin Faulks of Abilene, Texas, granddaughter, Baily Allen of Abilene, Texas, adopted kids Glenn and Sirena Bilbrey. She is also survived by many loving family and friends.
