Robert "Bobby" Coy 56 of Abilene passed away Saturday July 7 2012. The family will be receiving guests Tuesday July 10 2012 at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street with a visitation from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. and a rosary from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday July 11 2012 at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Bhaskar Morugudi officiating. Burial will follow at Texas State Veteran Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Robert was adopted May 29 1956 to Ermesto Coy in Abilene Texas . He served in the Army for 4 years and retired from the City of Abilene after 27 years. Robert was married to Pamela Light Coy. Robert was preceded in death by his mother Katy Coy. He is survived by his wife Pam Coy: sons Michael Coy & Jacob Coy; parents Ernesto & Josie Coy; brothers Abel Coy & Steve Gonzales; sister Norma Gonzales; numerous cousins aunts uncles step-children grandchildren and beloved dogs. He will be truly missed by all who knew & loved him.
