Robert Richard Haas, better know as Rick, 60, of Rock Port, IN, passed away October 22, 2023 after battling heart failure. Rick was born in Greencastle, IN to Robert AKA Bob and Brenda Haas on October 23, 1962. Rick attended South Spencer High School. He set records for track and field and earned additional accolades before his graduation in 1981.Rick lived life on his own terms, enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques and will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Brenda Haas. Rick Haas is survived by his sister, Robin Poynter (Scott); former wife, Brenda Simmons and their son, Dustin (Amanda); and grandchildren, Daphne and Riker. Visitors are welcome to attend a memorial service Friday, October 27th, 2023 between 11 am and 3pm at The Grandview Civic Center, 1311 Main Street Grandview, IN 47615.
