Robert Max Lambert, 62, of Abilene, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. Services will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at North's Memorial Chapel with Barry Glover officiating. Burial will be in the Potosi Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange Street. Robert Max Lambert was born July 23, 1953. He graduated in 1972 from high school in California. He attended both ACU and McMurry Universities. He married Sheryl Glover on November 14, 2008 in Abilene. Max worked for Betty Hardwick. He was an accomplished musician, loved guitars, art, theater and historical buildings. Max was an eclectic man, worked in the Abilene Preservation League and was a member of Greek Orthodox Church in Abilene. He was preceded in death by his parents.
