Roberto Garza Aguirre of Abilene passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020.
Roberto Aguirre was born May 6, 1949 in Piedras Negras Mexico to Manuela Coarza and Carlos Aguirre. Roberto received his primary education in Piedras Negras Mexico. As a young man he trained elephants. Roberto moved to the United State at the age of 17. In His spare time he loved to wrestle, he was a professional wrestler in San Antonio, TX, Roberto moved to Abilene, TX, in 1969 where he worked for Pine Street Salvage for 20 years and retired. He then worked for Texas Metals and recycling for 10 years. Later moving back to San Antonio and working for Smith Protection as security for 11 years. Mr. Aguirre loved to visit his family, and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed listening to music.

Left to cherish his memories are: The mother of his children; Mary Aguirre of Abilene, TX, son; Johnny Max Abila of Abilene, daughter Elsa Aguirre of Abilene, TX, brothers; Carlos Aguirre of Indiana, Lupe Aguirre of San Antonio ,TX, Jose Aguirre of Piedras Negras, MX, sister; Elsa Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, and Juanita Amaya Aguirre of Piedras Negras, MX, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, lots of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
