Roberto G. Prado, age 71 of Abilene passed from this life on Thursday, January 5, 2023. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Thursday, January 12 at North's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 13 at North's Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Kirkland officiating. Roberto was born on February 1st, 1951 in Abilene to Simon Prado and Isabel Johnston. Roberto loved to gamble and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He liked to do leather craft and was a skilled mechanic who could fix just about anything. Roberto used his skill to help his friends and family. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his daughter Rachel, his sister Olivia and his brothers, Simon and Larry. Roberto is survived by his children, Melissa Robles, and husband Noel, son Robert Prado, and wife Stephanie, and Richard Prado and wife Maria; sisters Terry Prado, Sandra Johnston and grand children Isabel Flores, Robert Prado, III, Anthony Prado and Diego Prado, and great grandchildren; Rachel, Johnathon, Abby and Bella.
