Roger Dean Neal Sr. known as "HOSS" 72 of Abilene passed away Friday January 29, 2021 in Abilene, A Memorial service will be Friday February 5, 2021 at 5pm at North's Funeral Home Chapel. Roger was born in Bogata, Texas TX to parents Elmo Neal and Earnestine Cotton-Neal. The family moved to Abilene when Roger was 12 and he attended Abilene Schools graduating from Carter G. Woodson High School in 1967. After High School Hoss attended Job Corp. His hobbies included playing dominoes, cards and he loved to get together with family and friends. Roger had a beautiful voice and he loved to sing. Hoss was preceded in death by both parents, wife Wanda Neal, brothers; Marcus Neal, Clennis Neal, sisters; Alice Lee, Deedra Frazier, and Sheneta Neal. Left to cherish his memories are daughter Shara Neal of Arlington, son; Roger Neal Jr. of Amarillo, TX, step-daughter Delilah Neal of Abilene, TX. sisters: Sandra Stevenson, of Abilene, Twanna Neal of Abilene, Beverly Veasley (Alvin) of Longview, TX and Brother Kenneth Neal (Mary) of Abilene, TX, and a host of extended family and many friends.
