Ronald Thomas, 68, of Abilene passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:30am at North's Funeral Home, located at 242 Orange St. Abilene, TX with Pastor Bobby King officiating. Burial will follow at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00pm. Visitation will be held Monday, December 11, 2023, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at North's Funeral Home. Ronald was born in Abilene, Texas to Parish Thomas and Patricia Ann Johnson on March 16th, 1955. He married Doris Thomas. Ronald was a veteran and served in the United States Navy and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. In his spare time, Ronald loved spending time outdoors, working on cars, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a huge basketball and football fan and loved watching the games on TV. He was an incredible human with a unique personality and full of wit. He will be greatly missed. Ronald was preceded in death by his mother; Patricia Ann Johnson.
