Obituary

Ronnie G. Blaine Sr. 72 of Abilene passed away September 3, 2021 at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 11, 2021 at 10am at North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday September 10 from 6-8pm at North's Funeral Home. October 22, 1948, Ronnie Glenn Blaine Sr. was born to the late George and Beatrice Carlwell Blaine. He was born in Harlan County Kentucky He was one of twelve siblings, and was educated in Harlan School System. Later Ronnie enlisted with the United States Air Force. After his tour of duty with the military, Mr. Blaine had various jobs including: Terminex Pest Control, Abilene Fire Dept, Correction Officer with Robertson Unit and Haskell Detention Center. He was preceded in death by his parents George W. and Beatrice Blaine and four brothers and one brother in Law Left to cherish his memories are wife, Laura Lee Blaine, daughter Chantae, three sons, Ronnie Jr. Brian and Derrick, step-son J.R. Jones, siblings George Blaine and wife Martha, Mildred Carriler , Donnie Blaine and wife Lillie, Jackie Blaine and wife Jewell, Larry Blaine and wife Dorothy, numerous grand, great grandchildren and a host of extended family and many friends. He Fought a good Fight, he Finished the course, and now he wears a crown laid up for him.Special Thanks to Aunt Annie Titus, and Lois Edwards for your care and compassion during these difficult times.
