Ronnie Wayne Blanton, 65, of Abilene, Texas went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2015. Ronnie was born May 16, 1950 in Rotan, Texas to James "J.E." and Claudine Blanton. He was preceded in death by his parents, "J.E." and Claudine Blanton. Ronnie worked at the North Fifth and Grape Church of Christ where he had many loved friends. He was an Air Force veteran, and a skilled Carpenter. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Willie May Blanton of Abilene TX; Son Eric Blanton and wife Samantha Blanton; grandson, Derek Blanton of Paige, Texas, brother, Lonnie Blanton and wife Donna Blanton of Edmond Oklahoma, sister, Betty Sullivent of Graham, Texas, nephew, Dallas Sullivent and wife Melissa and great nieces, Tayler and Delaney Sullivent of Graham Texas. Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Fifth and Grape Church of Christ with Mike Bonner and Bennie Whitehead officiating.
