Rosa Earline Osborn of Abilene passed away Sunday March 6 at Wisteria Place. She was born July 30 1916 and had lived at Colony Hill Hamby and in the Abilene area her entire life. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamby Cemetery. The service will be conducted by her grandsons Antony Parsons of Liberty Hill Texas and Jim Parsons of Houston under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Mrs. Osborn graduated from Abilene High. She married Lawrence Parsons in 1938 who passed away in 1971 and subsequently married B. T. Osborn who died in 1985. She had been a member of the 14th & Oak and North Park churches of Christ. She was retired from Abilene State School. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Earl Montgomery Sr. and Rosa Mae DeArman Montgomery and by sister Ruby Lee Person brothers Joseph N. Montgomery and J. E. Montgomery Jr. She is survived by brother Oscar Elvis Montgomery of Union City CA and sister Doris Sherk of Oceanside CA. She also is survived by sons Jimmy Parsons and wife Ann of Baytown Percy Parsons and wife Holly of Abilene five grandchildren ten great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.   Online condolences can be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com
