Rosita De Leon, 76, of Abilene, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. A visitation will on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. in the North's Memorial Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Abilene Municipal Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street. Rosita De Leon was born on May 29, 1942 in Abilene, Texas to Juan and Anastasia (Cortinez) Peralez. She worked at the Abilene State School. Her hobbies included fishing and growing rose bushes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Atanacio V. De Leon, her daughter, Juanita Reyes, and a son, Antonio De Leon. She left to cherish her memory: a daughter, Esther Burch of Abilene; three sons: John De Leon of Abilene, Steve De Leon of Abilene, and Leon De Leon of El Paso; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
