Roy Bell Galbraith 60 of Abilene Texas passed way Tuesday May 12 2008. Visitation will be Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. at North's Funeral Home; services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at North Park Baptist Church with Louis Johnson officiating; burial to follow at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Roy was born July 5 1947 in Grand Prairie Texas to Roy Bell Galbraith Jr. and Mildred Fox Galbraith. He attended Abilene High Cooper High and went on to graduate in Topeka Kansas. He was a two time UIL All Sate Choir member and a member of the Texas Home Builder's Association. He was also an avid gardener and long time member of North Park Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Patty Galbraith; two nephew; G. Scott Galbraith and Mark Higalgo. He is survived by two daughters; Nanci Witt and husband Chris and Amanda Galbraith. Four sons; Christopher Galbraith and wife Amy Roy McAteer Richard Galbraith and James Galbraith. Two sisters; Peggy Galbraith and Paula Wright and husband Mark. Two brothers; Don Galbraith and wife Vickie Ron Galbraith and wife Glenda. Sixteen Grandchildren and numerous nieces nephews and great nieces.
