Roy Martinez Sr of Abilene passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 5, 2023 at North's Funeral Home at 10 AM. Visitation will be held Monday, December 4, 2023, 6:00-8:00 PM at North's Funeral Home. Roy was born September 2, 1956 in Abilene, TX to Balbina Perez and Rufino Martinez. Roy was preceded in death by mother Balbina Perez,n father Rufino Martinez, and daughter Amy Lee Portillo. Left to cherish his memories are: Celia Martinez, daughter Sylvia Martinez, son Roy Martinez JR and spouse Jamie, son Tommy Martinez, brother Ernest Martinez and spouse Lisa Martinez, sister Mary Nelson and spouse Floyd Nelson, brother Danny and Cathline, along with several other half brothers and sisters, 22 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
