Rudolph Rodriguez Soto, age 74 of Abilene, Tx passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. Burial will be held 11am Friday, November 13, 2020 at Elmwood Cemetery 5750 US-277 S, Abilene, TX 79606 Rudolph was born in Abilene, Tx on September 27, 1946 to Gomecindo Soto and Maria "Mary" Gomez. Rudy Soto graduated from Abilene High in 1967, shortly after he served in the Navy. Once back in Abilene he was a devoted worker for CG Con and Lockheed for many years. Rudy Soto was a loving husband for over 44 years and a caring father and grandfather. He was known for being one of the best coaches on the field from coaching his daughter's softball teams year after year to being at every event he could for his grandchildren. He had a passion for hunting and fishing as well as a fondness for trucks. Rudy Soto touched the lives of so many with his funny personality and memorable voice. He will be truly missed but his memories will always be with us. He was preceded in death by his beloved father Gomecindo Soto and mother Mary R. Gomez; son, Antonio Castillo; brother, Ernest Soto Rudolph is survived by spouse Maria Ochoa; children, Brenda Sotelo, Edward Ochoa and Jesse Ochoa; brothers, Daniel Soto, Sabino Gomez Jr and Carlos Gomez; sisters Sara Soto, Angie Kenzle, Marie Baucum, Julie Mendoza, Lucy Escobedo and 8 Grandchildren.
