Ruetta W. Oglesby 90 formally of Abilene passed away Tuesday December 13 2011 in Sherman Texas. Services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at South Side Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Uckert officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Friday at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Mrs. Oglesby was born December 22 1921 in Williams Community AR. to James and Vera Williams. She married George Edwin Oglesby May 20 1939 in Abilene Texas. Ruetta worked as a finisher for Rita Barber Funeral Garments for many years. She was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed the blessings of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents husband and one brother. She is survived by one son: Edwin Kurns "Bo" Oglesby and wife Linda; two daughters Lynda Gail Roberts and Deborah Diane Davis and husband Daniel all of Abilene Texas. Ten Grandchildren; Angela Davis Michael Oglesby Michael Sachsenmeyer Page Love and husband Chris Lyndsey Heisler and husband Markus and Brandon Bradshaw.  One brother; Rodney Daryl Williams of Hot Springs AR.  Many nieces and nephews and special friends .
