Ruth Evelyn Clark Randall, age 73, passed on Sept. 30th, 2021, in Abilene, TX. The Heavens opened up and cried for her, literally flooding the city that day. They saw the pain she was in and decided it was her time to join the father in heaven. Ruth Randall is survived by, her son Denis Randall Jr. of Abilene, Tx.; her daughter, Rebecca Randall, of Abilene Tx.; her grandchildren, Denis Randall III, Justin O'Connor, Krystin Little, Logan O'Connor, and Morgan O'Connor; her sister Jackie Marshall, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Clark, of Connecticut. Ruth was born on May 27, 1948 in Hartford, Connecticut, to parents Evelyn B. Miles and Elmer P. Clark. She graduated from Windham High School in Willimantic, Connecticut with a diploma in 1966. Went on to work for Hartford Insurance Group. Married Denis Randall, Sr. in June of 1973. Due to his military status, she traveled with him as much as possible. They had two children before settling down in Abilene, Tx. She went to TSTC and earned her Associated Degree in Automated Office Technology/Accounting Assistant, while working at Western Sizzlin Steak House. Worked at H&R Block for a few years then settled into her favorite job at Hendrick Hospital as Operator for the rest of her career, until health issues started taking the toll on her body. Ruth Randall was a socially, active woman who was deeply involved in the church, the Choir, and with West Central Texas Gem and Mineral Society. Her family and friends will always remember her as the strongest person they have ever met. She is and will always be a fighter. A funeral is scheduled for 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 6th,2021, at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Scott Seymour officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ruth's life.
