Ryan Heath Owen, age 49, passed from this life on Sunday, February 27th, 2022. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 at North's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1pm on Thursday at North's with Brother Jeff Addison officiating. Burial will follow at Elliot-Hamil Cemetery. Ryan was born in Abilene on June 4th, 1972 to John Richard and Janice Owen. He lived in the area his entire life and worked for many years at Accent Coating. Ryan was very loving, he had a big heart and always had a smile on his face. He also enjoyed spending time fishing. Ryan was preceded in death by his father, John Richard Owen and his brother, Jimmy Chokas. He is survived by his mother, Janice Owen and step-father Roy Saunders; daughter, Kylee Owen; siblings, Mindi Smola and husband Scott, Toni DeFoor and husband, Brian, John Chokas, Wendi Williams, Sherri Clark and husband, Bill and LaRoy Saunders; grandchildren, Beau Benavides, Noah Benavides and numerous nieces and nephews.
