Samuel Renteria Sr. 65 of Abilene passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 with family by his side. Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 26, 2022 in North's Chapel at 12pm. Visitation will be held Friday February 25, 2022 from 5-7pm in North's Funeral Home Chapel.

Samuel was born October 1, 1956 in Acuna, Mexico to Lydia Acosta and Jose Luis Renteria. Samuel received his primary education from Acuna, Public schools. After High School he moved to Abilene, TX and started his family with wife Josefina in 1974.

In His spare time he loved to be outdoors boating, and fishing. His main passion was music, he loved to sing. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Samuel was preceded in death by his father; Jose Luis Renteria.

Left to cherish his memories are:mother; Lydia Acosta wife; Josefina Renteria, son; Samuel Renteria Jr. (Siclali Renteria) brothers; Rafael Renteria, Luis Clemente Renteria, Sergio Renteria, Gerardo Vidal Renteria, sister; Sonia Diza (Juan Diaz) grandchildren; Chris Garcia (Mily), Zachary Renteria (Mireya), Zavier Renteria (Lillyssa), Alyssa Renteria, Marissa Renteria (Carlos), Max Martinez, David Martinez, Yadira Renteria. 5 great grand children 3 girls, 2 boys, multiple nieces, and nephews.
