Sandra Counts-Hamm 68 of Abilene went to be with her Lord Sunday August 24 2008 after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday August 28 2008 at Hillcrest Church of Christ with Bill Luttrell officiating . Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday August 27 2008 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Sandra was born February 20 1940 in Anson Texas to Robert J. Counts and Lorene Counts. She grew up in Leuders Texas and moved to Abilene in 1973. She worked at Baack's Florist until she retired in 2006. She was a longtime member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. She loved the Lord and her Church family and she was truly an inspiration to us all. She was preceded in death by her father Robert J. Counts a husband Robert B. Vickers and Donald R. Johnson. She is survived by her husband Kevin Hamm mother Lorene Counts of Clyde one daughter Tracie Anderson and husband Doug of Abilene one son Todd Johnson and wife Sandra of El Paso one granddaughter Leslie Edwards of Denton one grandson Zane Johnson of El Paso and several aunts and cousins Online condolences may be sent to www.northsfuneralhome.com.
