Sarah Amelia Underwood Morris of Abilene passed away Friday October 12 2012. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday October 14 2012 at 2: 00 p.m. at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Reverend Roland Williams will officiate. Sarah was born on January 6 1920 in Roseboro North Carolina. She resided at Wesley Court in Abilene Texas. Sarah enjoyed all life had to offer. She loved to read her Bible play Bridge gardening cooking and entertaining ceramics needlework and loved her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents Fleet Martin Underwood and Pearl Cornelia Underwood and beloved husband of forty-seven years Harold T. Morris Jr. She is survived by her children: Tom Morris (son) and daughter-in-law Sharon Morris of Abilene Texas and Betty Walters (daughter) and son-in-law Carl (Skip) Walters of Kissimmee Florida; brother Fleet Underwood of Virginia and sister Elma Jackson of Florida; six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
