Greg "Shanon" Hinkle of Abilene passed away Saturday April 17, 2021 at Anson General Hospital A Funeral Mass will be held April 26, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 1:30pm. A Rosary will be held April 25, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church a 4pm. Shanon was born March 3, 1962 in Wichita Falls, TX to Lemmie Lou Bockmon and Ben Morton Hinkle. Shanon received his primary education from Hamlin public schools, graduating from Hamlin High School in 1980. After High School he began a life long career in cosmetology and was a Hair Stylist in Abilene for 40 years. Shanon was preceded in death by parents Ben and Lemme Lou, and also a brother James Morton Hinkle. Left to cherish his memories are: sister Bebbie Johnson and brother Michael Shane Hinkle, Many Nieces and Nephews that he dearly loved, and a host of friends he treasured.
