Sheila Lemond, age 55 of Abilene went home to her Lord on January 1st, 2021. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6 from 6pm to 8pm at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St., Abilene. Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday, January 7 at the North Park Assembly of God church, 1818 Jameson St., Abilene with Pastor John Shepard officiating. Burial will follow at Denton Valley Cemetery. Shelia was born on August 5th, 1965 in Abilene to Erwin and Thelma Lemond and lived in the area her entire life. She worked as a Nurses Aid for 35 years at Hendrick Hospital, Texas Mid West Surgery Center and also as an in-home caregiver. Sheila loved to travel, take vacations and play Bunco. She was devoted to her family. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her siblings, Debra Harrison and Danny Lemond, both of Abilene; niece, Catherine Lemond of Cedaredge, Colorado and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
