Obituary

Shirley was born November 24, 1967, to Johnnie Cherry and William Renfro Jr. in Abilene, Texas. She attended schools in Abilene and spent most of her career as a Stay-at-home mother. Shirley took great pride in being a mother despite the many trying times she endured, always doing what was best for her children, even if it meant letting them go. Shirley always spoke of the Lord and walking in his footsteps although depression seemed to consume her entire life. When diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, she fearlessly made the decision that she was ready to meet the Lord. Life is not easy for anyone and never perfect, but Shirley found her peace and quietly went to her final resting place on January 22, 2021, at 2:04pmwith her daughter at her side.
