Obituary

Silvia Sigala Alvarez, 67, suddenly passed away on June 1, 2024, in Bellevue Washington. Her loss is completely unexpected, and her family is profoundly saddened. Silvia was born on January 29, 1957, in Abilene, Texas. Silvia was the daughter of the late Augustine and Emma Sigala. She retired from the Proliance Surgeons, Inc. and was a member of the Saint Louise Catholic Church, Bellevue Wa. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the St. Vincent Catholic Church with Deacon Victor Ramirez officiating. Burial will be at Abilene Municipal Cemetery directed by North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at (North's Funeral Home) She was preceded in death by her parents (Augustine and Emma Sigala) and one sibling (Augustine Sigala, Jr., "Bear"). Silvia loved her family/friends and would make a point to tell them that she loved and appreciated them as often as possible, sometimes with a hug but most frequently with a text, phone call and mailing cards with stickers/confetti. She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them and if you knew her, you knew it. Silvia is survived by her partner Kirk Boyens, her son Fidencio Alvarez III (April) of Abilene, Texas, two sisters, Sandra Sigala Jewell (John) of Monroe Wa. and Monica Sigala (Mario Gonzalez) of Abilene; three grandchildren, Devin Alvarez of Abilene Texas , Tyra Brown( Zac Boyd) of Abilene, Lilly Anna Alvarez of Abilene and 2 great grandchildren, Ariyah and Alijah. The family will be at Monica Sigala, 2102 Rosewood, Abilene, Tx. 79603. Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide-network of community. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and asks that you make contributions ST. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store or Food Bank of Abilene in lieu of flowers. Pallbearers will be Devin Alvarez, Salvador Sigala, Gabriel Chacon, Madison Mayes, Abe Martinez. Services entrusted to North's Funeral Home.
