Sol Edward Wise better known as "Eddie" 79 of Abilene passed away Saturday March 26, 2022 in Abilene, TX . Visitation will be held Wednesday March 30, 2022 from 6-7pm with a Memorial to be held at 7pm at North's Funeral Home located at 242 Orange St. Abilene TX, 79601

Sol was born September 14, 1942, in Abilene, TX to Alice Flippen and Zeno Franklin Wise. Eddie started working at an early age at the Grocery Store. He also worked rebuilding trucks. Eddie took up the trade of welding and worked as a welder. Sol along with his parents, worked hauling rocks to Lake Fort Phantom in a Model T. Ford when the lake was being built. Eddie was an avid Crappie Fisherman, who loved all aspects of fishing, he loved to build custom rods. He was the owner and operator of the Fisherman Retreat Bait Shop on Ambler for 27 years. Wasn't a day that went by and Eddie didn't greet you at the door along with his lovely wife of 46 years. He loved to spend time with his kids, grandbabies, cooking, and making hot sauce.

Sol was preceded in death by parents, Alice Flippen and Zeno Franklin Wise, son Jeffrey Wise, Sister Linda Coutier, sister Pauline Leddy, brother Johnny Wise, brother Buddy Zeno, and sister Frankie Ordway

Left to cherish his memories are: Wife, Neva Wise of Abilene, TX Daughters; Patricia Wise(Ronnie Wilhite) of Sweetwater, Melody Irvin of Tuscola, Cecelia Wise (husband Chance Boyd) of Abilene, Sandra Wise of Abilene, Sons; Duke Wise of Buffalo Gap, Billy Strout of Eula, Shannon Wise, Rocky Wise, Zeno Allen, John Wise, Jesse Wise, Brother Danny, Wise and Wife Cindy of Abilene, Grandkids David Strout, Jayton Wise, Markley Norton, Caydence Wise, Carly Wise, Ozlynn Wise, Jackson Sol, and a host of extended family and many friends.
