Soledad Gonzalez Santibanez 75 passed away Wednesday September 24 2008. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis Catholic Church with Father George Thirumangalam officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Mrs. Santibanez was born February 8 1933 to Arturo and Rosa Gonzalez in Tye Texas. She married Raymond Santibanez June 6 1950 in Abilene Texas. She worked at the West Texas Medical Center for over ten years. She worked at Humana Hospital for fifteen years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her husband Raymond; three sons Robert and wife Jana of Abilene Raymond Jr. and wife Susan of New Braunfels Texas and Richard and wife Wendy of Abilene.
