Stephen Patrick Parker was born June 5 1971 in Stamford Texas and went to be with the Lord on May 24 2011. He was 39 years old. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street with Danny Thompson officiating. Stephen graduated from Anson High School in 1990. He worked many years as a waiter. Later he worked in construction with metal buildings and remodeling. He loved life his family and all his many many friends. Stephen is survived by his mother Margaret and stepfather Leonard Swafford of Anson Texas; his father Wm Morris Parker and stepmother Patricia of Big Spring Texas; his brother Wm Ralph Parker of Roby Texas; his sister Melissa Kemp of Waco Texas; one niece Allison Neatherlin her husband Brian of Amarillo Texas; his great-niece; and one nephew Adam Parker of Stamford. Stephen will be greatly missed by all his friends and foremost by his parents his brother Ralph and sister Melissa nephew Adam and niece Allison. Stephen's favorite scriptures were Psalm 23 and Psalm 91. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society.
