Sterling Tucker 77 of Abilene passed away Tuesday cNovember 6 2012. A graveside servicecwill be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Texas State Veterans Cemeterycunder the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Gary Dale Smith will officiate. Sterling was born and raised in Brownwood Texas. He married Patricia Barry in 1957. He proudly served his country in the UnitedcStates Navy from 1953 – 1957. He was a real estate broker for the Big Country area for forty years. He loved animals of all species. He was preceded in death by his parents wife two sisters and one brother. He is survived by one son Doug Tucker of Abilene; Three daughters: Brenda Jones and husband Vic of Abilene Lori Wood and husband Steve of Austin and Shelly Mitchell of Abilene;   Six sisters Six Grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren.
