Steven Lynn Rodgers was born on March 15, 1965, and left this earth on November 13, 2025, into the arms of our Lord and son Jesus Christ for eternal spiritual peace and unconditional love. Lynn died peacefully at home after a lengthy illness. Lynn was born in Abilene, Tx to parents Leo and Lajuana Rodgers. He was a spunky and loving child, a little mischievous, but never met a stranger. Lynn loved school and after high school attended cosmetology school. He excelled in the field and it took him to Dallas, Tx, where hs skills increased daily as a professional hairstylist and make-up artist, which led him to relocate to Los Angeles, CA. There he became a much sought after stylist. Many of his clients were famous actors, models and musicians. To his credit he also worked on movie sets, music videos, and magazine cover photos and photo shoots. Lynn's quick wit and humor were unsurpassed by none and admired by many. He lead a full and colorful life, and was a selfless nonjudgmental person always willing to help anyone in need. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Lajuana Rodgers, his Aunt Debbie Andrews and best friend Nancy Griffiths. He is survived by son Cam Harris, two brothers Richard and Dervin Rodgers as well as a host of friends and loved ones. He was surely met at the pearly gates by his Mom and Dad, Aunt Debbie, and best friend Nancy. Fly high and shine with the stars sweet Lynn. A candle light vigil will be held on Saturday, November 22, at 5:30 pm, at the Dr Seuss Garden Park by the fountain on N.1st & Cedar by the T&P Building.
