Sue Ann (Getts) Webber was born to Clide Ann Getts and Richard Page Getts on June 7, 1958, in San Angelo, Texas. Sue married the love of her life on September 10, 1983. Together they share their greatest joys: six children, 24 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was a God-fearing, beautiful, brave, selfless, strong-willed, and determined woman that could move mountains for those she loved. She was so much more than just a wife, mother, and Nana, she was our North Star, protector, and the heartbeat of our family. A life long Texan,she spent the majority of her life in Odessa, as a homemaker, raising and guiding her children. She was known as the best scorekeeper and devoted "team mom", in West Odessa, before relocating to Seguin, and ultimately Comanche, Texas. She enjoyed crocheting, golfing, traveling, cruising, reading, gardening, HGTV, Patsy Cline, tea parties with her granddaughters, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. In her precious, final days she was surrounded with an outpouring of love from not only her husband, children, and brothers, but also friends and neighbors from Comanche, Texas, the PAR golf club community and beyond. On June 7, 2024, her 66th birthday, Sue gained her angel wings. She took her eternal place in Heaven, while holding the hand of her forever love, best friend, and husband of 41 years. While no words could ever do justice to the woman she was or the life she lived, we have solace in knowing that we will see her again one day, where she will be saving us all a seat on the sandy shores of Heaven's beach. Sue was preceded in death by her parents: Richard Page Getts and Clide Ann Getts, Her brother, Kenneth (Kenny) Dewaine Getts, and Her parents-in-love Harry E. Webber and Alice Sue Webber. To carry on her memory, she leaves behind her husband, Benny (Buddy) Webber, and their children (and spouses): Kimberly and Charles Dugger, Bradley and Amanda Webber, Laurie and Joseph Wood, Lindsy and Kristofor (Kit)Turner, Richard and Amber Getts, and Tyler Webber and Sarah Clester. Sue, lovingly known as Nana, also leaves behind her "babies," Nikolas, Paige, Weston, Robert, Caden, Dustin, Blake, Daisy, Jake, Syrena, Conner, Sydnie, Alan, Emma, Penelope, Braydon, Andrew, Corey, Addyson, Kael, Saraya, Lillian, Payton, Luke and great-grandson Nico. The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Hendrick Hospice House, Abilene, Texas. Services entrusted to North's Funeral Home.
