Susan Tucker Maddox 74, of Abilene, Texas passed away peacefully with her loving children by her side on April 12, 2024. Visitation will be held Thursday April 18, 2024 from 10AM-4PM at North's Funeral Home. With a final viewing Friday April 19, 2024 from 10AM-12PM at North's Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Potosi Cemetery Friday April 19, 2024 at 2pm. All friends and family are invited to attend. Services entrusted to North's Funeral Home. Susan was born on June 24, 1949 in Odessa to Nash and Phyllis Tucker. On January 9 1971 Susan married the love of her life Danny Maddox. Susan would go on to pursue a career as a CPA and receive her Masters from Abilene Christian University. Susan's passions and hobbies included playing piano and singing in her church choir, puzzles, reading and especially fishing at the family lake house. Susan's most beloved role, however, was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Susan was preceded in death by Husband; Danny Joe Maddox, parents; Nash and Phyllis Tucker, sister; Sharyn Hill, and granddaughter; Madison Noel Besecker. Left to cherish her memories are: sons, Chris Maddox, and Barry Brasher, daughter; Melanie Besecker, grandchildren; Jessica Danielle Williams, Hallie Ryan Besecker, Cassidy Sue Basecker, and great grandchild; Lily Noel Phillips.
