Thomas Albert Hoover, 74, of Abilene, passed away on April 30th, 2023. His ashes will be inurned in St. Mark's Episcopal Church columbarium. An inurnment ceremony will be held in the courtyard of the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest, 602 Meander Street, Abilene on Monday , May 8th at 10 am. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacqueline McCombie Hoover and Thomas Blair Hoover and his grandparents, Albert and Mary McCombie and Edwin and Ellen Hoover. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Tinney Hoover; his daughter, Sarah Hoover Bates and her husband Kreston Bates; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Heidenheimer and Seth Bates; siblings, Jill Werner, Jack Hoover (Chrissie), Dan Hoover (Robin), Mary Jones (Brian), Jeff Hoover (Cyndi) and many nieces and nephews.
