Tina La-Nell Garrett, age 53, passed from this life of Friday, February 17. 2023. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street, Abilene, Texas. Tina was born on August 11th, 1969 in Dallas, Texas to Bentley and Patricia Carter. She married Robert Garrett on September 7th, 1998 and together they moved to Abilene in 2010. Tina loved to make quilts and read romance novels and stories about paranormal activity. Her other hobbies included play pool, 8 Ball being her favorite game, and collecting DVD's. Tina was preceded in death by her father Bentley Carter and her brother, Michael Dwayne Carter. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; mother Pat Carter; children, Jennifer, Kimberly and Marie Anne; brother Derriel Smith and 5 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local ASPCA in her name.
