Obituary

Tina Maria Hopper was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Earnest "Boots" and Helga Hopper on July 1, 1958. Because her father served in the Army, Tina and her family moved a lot when she was young. When her dad retired in 1969 they settled in Abilene where Tina attended public schools and graduated from Abilene High. Tina liked to stay busy, and she was a hard worker. She enjoyed working as a film development tech for two different companies. She worked at Taco Bell, where her work ethic led to her becoming a store manager. She had great success in her career. This allowed her the means to achieve one of her main goals in life, which was to buy her own home. Tina enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping with friends. She started out camping in tents and graduated to owning her own camper. She saw many of our national parks this way. Tina's independence was very important to her. She was a motorcycle enthusiast and used to ride with a group of friends. Tina loved music and used to attend music festivals whenever she could. She was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. She could be found watching the game any time they played. Tina was witty and had a friendly, fun-loving personality. She was a very caring person and she loved her family. She became caregiver to her aging parents, and later to her brother. Tina was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Donnie Hopper; some cousins; and a host of friends, including special friends Lynn DeLancey, Anita Nickels, and Christy Thackerson. Services entrusted to North's Funeral Home.
