Obituary

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, Tomasa Tolentino Sigala, 82 departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Hendrick Hospice Medical Center in Abilene, TX. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am, Friday February 28, 2014, at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church, 2525 Westview Drive in Abilene, TX with Father Terry Brenon officiating under the direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street Abilene TX. Interment will follow the Mass Service at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be at 5-6:30 pm for friends and family at North's Funeral Home Thursday, February 27, 2014 with a Prayer Service at 6:30 pm and Rosary following. The family will be receiving friends at 2009 Shelton, Abilene TX. Tomasa was born on December 21, 1931 in Cisco, Texas to Francisco and Heliodoria Gomez Tolentino and was a lifelong resident of Abilene, Texas. Tomasa, worked at Hendrick Medical Center, as Supervisor of housekeeping where she retired in 1994 after 30 yearsof service. Tomasa is survived by children Stella Diaz, Mary Ruth (Paul) Valdez , David (Delores)Sigala Sr., Minnie (Mando) Granado and Pat (Anna) Sigala all of Abilene. Grandchildren Michael, PJ, Danny, Edith, Angela, Celina, DJ, Anthony, Adriana, Mandito; twenty-three great-grandchildren; beloved sister and brother-in-law Margret and Juan Torres,of Cisco TX, sister-in-laws Louisa Tolentino, Maria Tolentino and several beloved nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her devoted husband Pablo Sigala of 64 years, parents Francisco and Heliodoria Tolentino, brothers Joe Tolentino, Fred Tolentino and Ruben Tolentino. Pallbearers are grandsons,Michael, PJ, Danny, DJ, Anthony, Mandito and Honorary pallbearersgreat-grandsons, Michael, Jaxon, Paul, Brandon, Elijah and Grayson. Her legacy will live on forever through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished. A Special heartfelt, "Thank You" to Hendrick Hospice, Mary Olvera, Emilia Castillo and all the people who were therefor her and the family.
