Torome Flint 77 of Abilene, passed away Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 in Abilene, funeral services will be held Monday November 20, 2023 at 11am at Wildfire Global Church, located at 1226 Oak St., visitation will be held Sunday November 19, from 6-8pm at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Abilene, TX.
Torome was born in Columbus, Georgia to Homer and Catherine Flint on July 5th, 1946. He attended Spencer High School in Columbus, Georgia. He graduated from Spencer High School in 1964. Torome served in the United States Air Force for four years, serving as a member of the security forces. He served as the gatekeeper at Texas State Veterans Cemetery, and he served faithfully as a deacon at Wildfire Global Church.
Torome Flint was a wonderful human with an amazing personality and sharp wit. He never met a stranger, and he was grateful in every situation. He kept a positive attitude, no matter what the circumstance. And he was hilarious - we laughed a lot. He always saw the humor in every situation.
Torome Flint was preceded in death by his parents, his brother George Watt, Jr., his sister Margaret Jackson, his brother Homer James Flint, and his nephews Homer "Poco" Flint, Stephen Lee Flint of Abilene, Stephen Flint of Columbus, and Zikarious Flint.
Torome Flint is survived by his daughter JoDonna Baker, son Michael Flint, brother Henry Flint, sister Barbara Ann Taylor, brother Jerome Flint, granddaughter Kim Baker, granddaughter Imari Gordon, and granddaughter Ka'Chandan Banks and numerous extended family members.
