Tracey Lynette Donaldson was born on July 30, 1967, to Sandra Garrett (Richland Hills, Texas) and Ulysses Neal (Fort Worth, Texas) in Abilene, Texas. Tracey was a loving child that always seemed to know when her father was coming home and would wait in the front window for him. Tracey lived in Abilene her entire life working as a home health care worker before becoming a devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, decorating her home, spending time with her family, and of course, all things Prince. Tracey is survived by her husband of over 20 years, Lavonce Donaldson and both of her parents. She leaves behind two dutiful sons and their spouses; Da'Shane & Kayla Rose (Georgetown, Texas) and Tyler & Margarita Mayes (Abilene, Texas) and three stepchildren, Lavonce Donaldson, Jr., Andre Donaldson, and Tasha Donaldson; along with eighteen grandchildren. Tracey will be missed by her siblings, Terrence Stokes Neal (Oregon), Christopher Neal (Beaumont, Texas), Chantel Neal (Fort Worth, Texas), and a host of uncles/aunts, cousins, and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held on May 9, 2026, at 11:30 AM at the Abilene Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St. Abilene, TX.
