Troy Dean LeGrand of Abilene passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 at his home. Graveside services will be held Saturday April 30, 2022 at 11am at Abilene City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday April 29, 2022 from 6-8pm at North's Funeral Home Chapel

Troy was born September 6, 1950 in Lamesa, TX to Bessie Mae Sadler and Junior LeGrand. Troy received his primary education from Lamesa Public Schools,. After High School he attended and graduated from the Job Corps. Troy loved watching sports of all kind. He worked as a contractor for many years along side of his brother Lafayette. Troy loved to travel and see new things and meet new people, he was a friend to all and stranger to none.

Troy was preceded in death by parents Junior LeGrand, and Bessie Mae Sadler, siblings: James LeGrand, Susiemae Render, Ruth Collins, Tommy Jean, Roy LeGrand, Lillie Fay Powell, and Geraldine Williams

Left to cherish his memories are: daughter Lisa Hastings of Lubbock, brothers Lafayette LeGrand of Abilene Douglas LeGrand of Fort Worth, TX sisters; Margaret Ward, Lorine LeGrand, Corine LeGrand, and Wanda Legrand all of Fort Worth, TX and a host of nieces nephews, extended family and many friends.
