Virginia O'Con Peralez, age 62, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Abilene, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17 at North's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will take place Tuesday, December 16, from 5-7 p.m. at the same location. Burial will follow at Abilene City Cemetery. Virginia was born and raised in Abilene, Texas, where she attended local schools. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, she dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a stay-at-home mom who loved watching over her children and later her grandchildren. Virginia cherished spending time with her loved ones, listening to music, barbecuing, and taking part in all family gatherings. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jose Peralez of Abilene; mother, Wanda O'Con her children, Jacob Peralez of Abilene, Ashley Peralez (Nico) of Abilene, Raquel Peralez of Abilene, and Alexia Peralez of Abilene; her brothers, Tommy O'Con (Tammie) of Abilene, Ricky O'Con of Abilene, and Manuel O'Con (Odel) of Florida; three treasured grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and dear friends. Virginia is preceded in death by her dad Manuel O'Con Sr, and two brothers Furman O'Con, and Billy John O'Con She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
