Virginia A. Thomas, 48, of Coleman, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in Abilene. A Memorial Service will be held on June 21, 2025, at 11am, at the Santa Anna Cemetery in Santa Anna Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor her memory. Virginia was born on February 15, 1977, in Brownwood, Texas, to Willie Lee Thomas Sr. and Herlean Terrell-Thomas. She received her education in the Santa Anna Public Schools. Known for her lively personality and warm heart, Virginia loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing dominoes and spades, and was affectionately known as "the life of the party." Her energy, laughter, and presence lit up every room she entered. She is survived by her son, Theo Thomas (Andrea Goodman) of Coleman; siblings: Phyllis Brown (Curtis) of South Carolina, Darlene Terrell of Coleman, Anthony Thomas of Coleman, Willie Thomas (Lisa) of Coleman, and Billy Wayne Thomas of Coleman; granddaughter, Rosann Thomas; Long time special friend Chris Hufford, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Herlean Terrell-Thomas and Willie Lee Thomas Sr., daughter Lakeisha Thomas, as well as her brother, Kenneth Terrell. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for those around her.
