Wanda Faye Stevens, 74, went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 16, 2014. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Stan Allcorn and Jeff Reid will officiate. Wanda was born on September 22, 1939 in Fort Worth, Texas to Bernard and Lois Allen. She was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church and was involved in the Christian Women's Connection. She was a fan to both the Rangers and NASCAR. She loved to watch anything her grandchildren participated in. Wanda was preceded in death by both parents; her son, Dennis Moore; brother, Wayne Allen; sister, Charlene Bouquet; and grandson, Garrett Briggs. She is survived by her husband, Morris Stevens; daughters: Donna Moore of Abilene, Carrie Briggs and husband, Brian, of Abilene; grandson, Alex Briggs; granddaughter, Marissa Briggs, both of Abilene; brother, Curtis Priddy and wife, Beverly, of Fort Worth, Texas; and stepchildren: Rhonda King, Cristy Gallagher, and Andrea Fine of Midland; along with several nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
