Wayne Edwin Smith, 81, of Abilene, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 in Midway Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. He was born May 13, 1934 in Ranger, Texas to L.D. and Loraine Smith. His spouse was Marilyn Smith and they were married on May 22, 1953 in Clovis, New Mexico. He is survived by his spouse, Marilyn Smith; children, Sharon and Ray Stockard, Karen Smith, Steve and Ronda Smith, Corey Smith; seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
