Wendell O. White, 76, was born on September 26, 1938 in Coleman, Texas. He went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 13, 2015, after a brief illness. Services will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at North's Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Coleman County Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange. Wendell was a faithful member of the Highland Church of Christ for almost 30 years. He actively participated in several ministries at Highland, including 39ers, the Son Shiners, and the Early Birds Bible class. He was loyal and faithful to his church family and he always appreciated and encouraged his friends. Wendell retired from AISD after serving there for over 35 years in the electronics department. Wendell was an active ham radio operator, participating in many radio clubs and making connections with people all over the world. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. O.
