Will "Dusty" Rogers Tims Jr. was born in Lubbock, Texas to Will Rogers Tims Sr. and Dorothy Chapman Tims on October 24, 1952. Dusty grew up all around west Texas. He met the love of his life on a blind date and made her his wife, Barbara Ann Talley on March 18, 1977 in Abilene, Texas. Dusty was loved by many and and will be dearly missed. He enjoyed hunting with his buddies, wood working and could tear it up on the grill! Jack of all trades doesn't begin to describe him. He knew a little about a lot and just enough to keep himself out of trouble. Dusty was blessed with a wonderful work family he looked forward to seeing for almost 50 years. These men were more than co-workers they have been there through thick and thin and could write a book about all the adventure, love, and loss over their many years of kinship. Self taught machinist, welder, and he could tear apart a car and put it back together. Enjoyed leather work creating for family and friends. A true gentleman in every sense of the word, doting over his wife, kids, granddaughter and great grand babies every chance he got. He had a servants heart for all that knew him. Not a perfect man, but would seek God in his daily struggles. Jesus took him home to heal his broken body January 17, 2024. Dusty was preceded in death by his father Will Tims Sr., his mother Dorothy Tims and his brother Ricky Tims; Grandparents Bernice Tims and Jess Tims; TD Chapman and Gertie Landers. Grandmother Beatrice Aten, Great uncle Archie Cunningham. Will "Dusty" Rogers Tims Jr. is survived by his wife Barbara Tims, his daughter Windy Tims, and his son Matthew "Brian" Tims; his sister Deborah Pratt and her husband Dennis; his grand daughter Taylor Tims and great grand children Lainie, Lucas and Leia. Aunt Patsy Jo Cunningham, Cousin Tana and Jerry Collis, and many nieces and nephews.
