William Harry Greenough Jr. 86 of Abilene passed away Monday, January 9, 2023. Graveside Services will be held at The Texas State Veterans Cemetery January 17, 2023 at 11am. A Memorial Visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, 5PM - 7PM at North's Funeral Home. William was born January 15, 1936 in North Hudson, NY to Gladys Baker and William Harry Greenough Sr.. William received his primary education from Schroonlake public schools. After High School he joined the United States Air Force where he honorably retired. In His spare time he loved to watch sports, play games, bowling, and enjoyed racing. William was preceded in death by his wife Aletha Greenough. Left to cherish his memories are: sons; Randy Greenough (Mindy), William Harry Greenough III, daughter; Brenda Brandt (Wayne), grand kids, great grand kids, and great great grand kids.
