William ""Bill"" Donald Taylor 73 of Abilene passed away Saturday September 12 2009. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church with Pastor's Stan Allcorn Jeff Reid and Jack Ridlehoover officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Mr. Taylor was born February 3 1936 in Hiltonville Indiana to Donald and Agnes Taylor. He was raised in Lueders Texas. After graduation he attended McMurry University. He served in the United States Army. After returning home from the military he worked for L&L Inc. and West Texas Crude Oil until his retirement. He then worked for City Link about four years. He is survived by his wife Marita Taylor. Two sisters; Carol Diane Taylor of Abilene and Loretta and husband David Bailey of Hiltonville Indiana. Nieces; Linda and Maurice Christopherson Susie and Mario Acosta Melinda and Ken Reeves. Nephews; David Jr. and Jeanette Bailey and Donald and Carrie Bailey. Three stepsons; Rodney Randy and Mikki Clark Brent and Dana Clark and Becky Clark. Eight step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be sent to the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.
