Zachariah Z. Beck was born on January 20, 1972 in Austin, Texas and went to be with the lord on August 27, 2021. Zack was a graduate of Cooper High School and the Art Institute of Dallas. He was a gifted artist and pursued his talents in various art forms focusing on pencil drawings and cartoon illustrations. While living in Austin, Texas he worked as a graphic artist before moving to Iraan, Texas and working for Mesquite Wood Barbeque. At the time of his death he was living near Eden, Texas on acreage he had made his home. Zack had a unique personality with a big heart. He grew up loving the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed playing golf and played during high school and later as a pastime. Zack is survived by his mother, Cherrie Preston of San Marcos, Texas and his father , Dana Beck of Iraan, Texas and grandmother, Sara Graham of Abilene, Texas. He also is survived by his sister, Tara Johnson of San Marcos, Texas, brothers, Cole Beck of Nederland, Texas and Ashton Preston of Great Falls, Montana. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Hugh and Helen Beck, grandmother DeAlva Graham and grandfather Paul Graham. Zack was loved by his aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all of those who loved and cared for him. A private memorial for Zachariah will be held in San Saba, Texas.
